  1. Hello. I have had a look for a solution to this on the forum, but haven't been able to find anything. I bought an aftermarket Podofo (think this is the brand) android unit from ebay. I installed it in my 2012 mk2 Octavia. It doesn't turn off when I turn the ignition off and drained the battery after a few days. I followed a guide on YouTube (sent to me by the seller) to cut one of the wires coming from the canbus, which was said to be draining the battery, but this hasn't changed anything. I also got into the factory settings to see if I could make any changes there but it hasn't sorted anything either. Does anyone have any suggestions to combat this issue or experience of this problem? Thanks so much! GJC
  2. Hello all. Hope you are well! I am new to the Skoda world after just buying a 2010 Octavia estate 1.4 TSI SE. This level of trim doesn't come with fog lights, but they are useful around where I live and I like the look of them on a bumber. Is it possible and relatively easy to fit fog lights to the car? I can see you can buy them from lots of different sources, but I'm not sure how easy they would be to fit. Thanks so much! I
  3. I have opted for a flush 24volt usb charger which means I'm not fussing around with electrics etc. I would still like to replace the radio though. Thanks!
  4. Hello! I am brand new to the world of Skoda, having just bought a 2010 Mk2 Octavia Estate 1.4 TSI ES. Low mileage at 59k and drives like a dream! Looking forward to learning more about the motor and brand through this forum!! Thanks! Il
  5. Hello all. I'm new here and very new to the Skoda world. I just bought a Mk2 Skoda Octavia 1.4 TSI SE. I'd like to potentially fit an upgrade to the Bolero radio to bring it a bit more up to date so I can stream and mirror from my phone amongst other things. I did do a search on this, but does anyone have any tried and tested upgrades they could share, as well as the model and where they purchased them? I'd also like to install some USB chargers to the car. Just to charge, not to link up to the stereo etc. As anyone done this sucessfully too? If this info does exist elsewhere on the forum please do let me know. Thanks so much! Il
