Podofo aftermarket android headunit draining battery

Featured Replies

Hello.

I have had a look for a solution to this on the forum, but haven't been able to find anything.

I bought an aftermarket Podofo (think this is the brand) android unit from ebay. I installed it in my 2012 mk2 Octavia.

It doesn't turn off when I turn the ignition off and drained the battery after a few days.

I followed a guide on YouTube (sent to me by the seller) to cut one of the wires coming from the canbus, which was said to be draining the battery, but this hasn't changed anything.

I also got into the factory settings to see if I could make any changes there but it hasn't sorted anything either.

Does anyone have any suggestions to combat this issue or experience of this problem?

Thanks so much!
