Random times, not after fueling, have changed OEM fuel cap. Could be N80 valve but surely it would be stuck open or shut, not intermittent!? Thanks again

Had the 2012 Fabia Mk2 with a intermittent engine light problem, OBDii scanner states: P0441 Evaporation emission system incorrect purge flow. This only occurs occasionally, the error came on once in Feb 26, then again June 26 and now the light came on again yesterday. Could this be the N80 purge valve sticking intermittently or another issue, the randomness of it does not point to a major problem and I'm not happy to give it to a garage to charge me stupid money to investigate. Is it worth changing the purge valve or should I be looking towards something else? Thanks Ned

Trying to put a rocker switch in place near the cigarette socket to disconnect the socket from always live, but can't seem to get hold of the wires to put in a switch. Does anyone have any advice how to get to the socket wires easliy, or remove the cigarette lighter or do I need a specific tool? Thanks
