  1. Skoda Superb 2.0tdi 190HP DSG 2018 mod. Cold start, but it had aux heater on for maybe 20 min. Not so cold, about -5C. Starts up car and puts into D, the car rolled about 50cm then stalls/turns off. Then the display says Start car manually. This has happend twice now within a week. Never had this issue before. Anyone else? What might be causing this?
  2. Had the exact same fault. Mechatronic was bad. If you have to pay for it yourself, I would concider third party repair specialists as they appear cheaper than new unit.
  3. Is DQ250 mechatronic less frequent to fail compared to the DQ381? What about the DQ500?
  4. I've had two cars with the DQ381 transmission, and the mechatronic unit went bad on both at around 100tkms. Makes me wonder if this is more common than 1-2%? Anyone else thoughts on this? Now I kinda want a manual transmission instead.
  5. It was the front passenger wheel hub.
  6. Rear diff replac Rear diff replaced with a renovated unit, so new bearing yes. Haldex unit untouched.
  7. Can you get a bad bearing in the haldex unit, so it produces noise at speed, at 120 000 km, even with following the service schedule? Rear diff replaced with a renovated one but still sound.
  8. @MartiniB Thanks for link!

  11. I have 215-55 R17 tiers. I dont have the spare wheel and I would like to get it. What part numbers do I need? I assume this is somerhing one would get from a scrapyard?
