Hi. I bought a 2015 Superb last July and it had an intermittent fault or two. Turns out intermittent means it appears in rainy winter my conditions. Here’s what I’ve figured out so far when the problem is occurring. There is a single bang from the speakers when pressing the unlock button on the key fob but not when locking the car. The banging repeats for about 5-6 times (could be 10 times) when opening the drivers door only. No other doors or boot etc have the same effect. The banging then continues with the ignition is on and doesn’t stop until the car is turned off. It sounds like there might be a grounding issue in the drivers door. Perhaps a micro switch? Maybe the wires that run between the door and the car itself? I’ve read so much I can’t see the woods from the trees anymore. The other thing is that the infotainment system is also affected. When it’s at its worst, the thing is dead. Black screen no boot up. At best, the Skoda screen just keeps looping like the thing is trying to boot up but can’t. One last thing, talk to me like a moron with a single digit IQ if you can help at all. Cheers.
