Battery Low? No interior light or standby (locked) driver door LED
Thanks, nta16! Yes, no messages about anything, just that those interior lights didn't light up and the driver's door LED is not pulsing. At least that's what I saw. While driving so few kilometers, I drove without Start/Stop activated, so not many starts, but I'm wondering what that means. In autumn I have to go for the warranty changes of oil/filters, I will ask about this to check the battery/charging - considering that it will not make any problems till then or show any messages about battery. It's new in my terms for a battery to go low... On a previous Ford I had the original battery for 10+ years with subwoofer installed which took quite some power, and now a car/battery from 2023 in not even two years to see these, weird in my opinion. I will look again in the manual as you said - and regarding the charging, a bit complicated since the car is parked outside on the street for a taking a cable and charger - but I do have a no name charger that has 'intelligent charging' and so on, might try it though. It's 'Ultimate Speed ULGD 5.0 C1', I don't know how good it is.

Battery Low? No interior light or standby (locked) driver door LED
In the last 3 months I drove only two times, and short drives. It was also winter so colder and I saw that the red LED from the driver's door that pulses when locked (no alarm installed) didn't pulse anymore. When I unlocked the car and opened the door the interior light was off - not because of the switch that was off but just the car didn't light it. After turning on the engine and let it running a bit, the interior light turned itself on, the LED pulses again. But no message about the battery in the dashboard or app. The car started OK. Now, the car being from 2023, my question is if someone saw/happened to have a similar situation - is the battery low? Just driving on a longer road will help in this case to charge it - or how much driving is necessary to charge the battery? Thank you.

New Scala Dash Cam Fitting
I just installed a Viofo dashcamera also recently - but it was pretty hard. The USB-C cable is thick and I wasn't able to get it behind the headliner all the way, especially near the interior mirror. Under the right door seal to go to passanger seat under the glovebox is also...weird being thick. And even if I put the camera next to the console of the interior mirror - I see part of the right A pillar and none of the left (driver) A pillar - it weird.

Removing the badges on the back hatch - possible?
I have my Scala with all that S K O D A and SCALA lettering which I want to remove for a cleaner, more inconspicuous look. I know that heating the area, breaking the glue with dental floss or fishing wire works, then rubbing the glue with some tar remover/glue remover will do. Mostly. I don't know that after 1 year the paint will show marks under the letters. But what I need to know if someone has done this or repaired/saw the hatch door, does the letters have only glue, or is the metal drilled and the letters have pins that go through it like in other cars? I don't want to go with all this process just to take them off and see that I'm left with holes from the letters in the door.

Fault with Central Locking or the Interior Monitor causing hazard lights to flash when car is locked
If I don't have an alarm is there any security or system still checking for things? It's the first time it did this, it's weird, I mean I saw many weird things but I hope it's nothing bad, wrong, or who knows.

Fault with Central Locking or the Interior Monitor causing hazard lights to flash when car is locked
I saw on my car (not Octavia but saw this topic) and it's weird. I locked the car, I pushed the boot button on the car to see if it locked and after a few seconds the hazard lights started. I opened the car again, turned them off, locked it again. I don't have alarm fitted, so why it started to flash the lights I don't know. Hope it doesn't do it again.

Skoda Scala Suspension
Stupid question but I need to lift the car or take the wheels out to check for these blocks, no? I took a bump harder and it felt like in Flinstones animated series, so now seeing this I wonder if I have them forgot there by the dealership.

2019 Skoda Scala first oil change
You did good, changed it often. I don't know what oil Skoda officially uses, but I saw that also Liqui Moly and Ravenol are good. I only have ~1000 km, but considering how people are - the majority not the few ones that really care, I would be laughed off by Skoda if I change it at ~2000km. I'm wondering if changing at a different car service would leave marks or something and if they can tell considering I find an OEM oil filter. Of course, without resetting the service interval because that I would do as they want, I just want an oil change in between at least.

Software Update available for Bolero?
I'm amazed at how some dealers deal with this problem, passing it around, asking irrelevant questions. I also have the 1790 and S23 Ultra can't connect. I asked them for an update and of course, the told me to first come and check. Then see with a tester which version is available for the car because it might not be even if it's out, it depends on the particular vehicle, options and stuff. All these after weeks because they are full so no free time for another car. Meanwhile I use a Carlinkit 5 which is great but for short trips. So I consider this, upgrading it myself buy since I understand that the upgrade itself is pretty easy, what should we do afterwards? I saw some posts mentioning a reset of something because then the tester could see some errors on the software side.

New Scala Dash Cam Fitting
For those who didn't hardwired the dashcam, how did you plug it in? Or where did you placed it on the windshield? I find only weird responses myself for these because the base of the rearview mirror is wide to accommodate the sensors, so I can put the dashcam to the right or the left which is pretty much to the side not center. Under the mirror it doesn't work since the majority of dashcams are bigger/taller so it would stick out too much. After that, the only cigarette socket is under the armrest and the cable would be in the way, from the mirror to the armrest, not ok, not safe. What options did you guys found - except hardwiring it? I don't really want to since I don't want to have problems with the warranty, sometimes I don't try a whole week and the battery might deplete too much.

2019 Skoda Scala first oil change
When did you guys had your first oil change? Skoda says 2 years or 30.000km, but 30.000km is very long, too much to have a new engine with all the metal parts in it after the breaking in period. I would try to change it at ~2000km, then 10.000km, then as they say probably, whichever comes first since I don't drive very much. But I'm not sure they will want or that they will actually change the oil and filter, not just sit and take the money.
