Okay seems like the Mr. Fix fw update has done the trick. I was on an older version! @Dissappinted if you hold down the Menu button for 3 seconds and go into Software update/versions, which "Installed SW train version" do you see?

After many happy and practical years of Yeti (2011, Ambition 1.6TDI Greenline, 77kW) ownership back in Ireland, I moved abroad in 2021 and was Škoda-less for the past three years. Took the plunge a few days ago and picked up a lovely 2018 ex-fleet Octavia 1.6TDI 85kW Style with 94k Km on the clock. So far I love it just as much as the Yeti and it's proving just as practical and pleasant to drive. Delighted to be back as a fully paid up member of the club!
