Thanks for the quick answer. Car was from south east - Maidstone so maybe near coast? It’s not a private buy so hard to get more detail than that I’m afraid. I was mainly worried about sea water/salt and higher level of wear, but from what you’re saying this isn’t an unusual level.

Hi everyone, first time post here, so thanks in advance. I’m looking at a second hand ŠKODA but viewing it and inspecting around the chassis it seemed like high wear and tear and some corrosion - see photos - is this an acceptable level of wear and tear for a used car with 40k miles? looks like corrosion on bolts - is that normal and cosmetic for Skodas or a sign of heavy use / salt water. Thanks!
