  1. That's the problem I had, only had the car 2 months. Fresh 12 month mot came with it. Had the pads checks an was fine, no leak patches were I park so topped up and will check it regularly going forward. Never had any issues with and untoward feeling from brakes
  2. All sorted, checked brakes and pads were fine. Topped up and all good. Thanks guys
  3. Ok, I've owned the car for 2 months, checked mot history and it's never failed a mot and came with a fresh 12 moths mot. Never had any issues with the brakes and don't feel anything untoward. Last night the brake fluid level warning flashed up for a second then dissapeaered. Checked the levels and its just on the min line. Would you suggest I just top it up or would you go straight to a garage to have it looked at. I've noticed no leak patches were I park each day either. 2011 MK2 vrs auto dsg diesel
  4. Thats what you need to do to make sure you dont have the problem I had. Also take care when installing the new fascia, Try clip it in from the top down to the bottom.
  5. The one main problem I had after installing was it wasn't switching on/off with the ignition. I found out you had to unplug a connection. I'll Try sort a picture for you to help. It had me stumped for a few days.
  6. Sat-nav I haven't used, I deleted the app straight away as I always use my phones goole maps. The notnperfect just being it's a chineese aftermarket. Not much explanation or detail on how things work. Took me a few days to figure the canbus setting etc out but now everything works fine, wheel controls, ac displays. The DAB isn't the best either. I only wanted it for android auto tbh
  7. I bought this few weeks ago, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/176201042834?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=azqwxvscqam&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=mzKs97pKQqC&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY It's not perfect but for what I wanted it forint does the job.
  8. Cheers mate, I'm booked into a garage for Tuesday to do that. Nothing has popped up on dash today so I'm assuming/hoping it's just a faulty/loose wire somewhere.
  9. Hi First time posting here, owned my vrs for 2 weeks now, absolutely loving her but one problem was really bugging with my O.C.D. I had no interior, glovebox or boot lights working. I managed to find the problem which was a blown fuse, replaced and all working well now. Unfortunately soon after I replaced fhe fuse I'm now getting a orange oil sensor workshop displaying on the dash when I start the car. I've checked the oil levels which are fine. The warning displays for 2/3 seconds once I've turned her over then goes. Is this something I need to worry about?
