Constant creaking and rattling from Boot
An year passed and it's getting colder again. I forgot about the clunking on hotter weather, but not it reappeared. The situation is the same, I hear it from the back/left side. I can definitely say that it's connected to the ambient temperature. Last year i disassembled the left rear part that's near the back seat and there was a cable bundle there which i isolated. It's not from there. Then i moved to the plastics in the boot on the left side - also not there... Im starting to wonder about rear left door. Any ideas from you?

Constant creaking and rattling from Boot
Mine is an estate, built in April 2024 and it has 8k kms on the clock, but it also has some rattling around the left C-pillar in specific conditions - most often on left turn when the front right wheel hits a bump or a small crack on the road. I went to my local dealer and described the situation, they said they've never heard of a rattling in the estates I tried lowering the back seats, removing the boot cover, etc - no change. I think there's something in the rear door or in the C-pillar - I can't localize it right when I'm driving. Any ideas about the estates?

Slow reaction from front parking sensors
How yours parking sensors at front react, do they have any lag? I'm noticing significant reaction difference between front and back sensors - for example when i'm parked between two other cars, the rear ones indicate at the same moment when i switch into reverse, but the front need 2-3 seconds to start working. After that (when I start maneuvering), they are OK. Yesterday I had very unpleasant situation when I stopped next to a sign to read it (small font...) if I can park there and I didn't see that there was a curb at one of my sides and I jumped on it. I know it was my mistake, but when I backed up, and then went into the parking entrance, the sensors got it.

Telephone - Sorry this function is currently unavailable. Please wait...
Yesterday was the second time I got this message for the entire drive (a short one). I think this happens when the headunit does an OTA update in the background. This time and the first one happened exactly the same - i got into the car and the phone didn't connect wirelessly and nor by cable. When I turned it off for about half an hour and then got back - it was working. Very unpleasant experience and poor design if it's the case.

Phone and headunit heat up when using wireless Android auto
Hello, I have Octavia mk4 2024 with Bolero multimedia. I've set up the connection using the wireless option and noticed that the phone (Samsung s23 ultra) and the multimedia heat up a lot when using Waze. And ofc the battery drains quickly... When I stop the WIFI and BT on the phone and keep using the Waze on it, it does not heat up at all, when the connection is wired, the phone is not hot, and the headunit is colder (not much, but i feel it when i put my hand on the display or on the back). Do you experience such behavior? Is it normal or a bug? I haven't tested it with other phones.

DQ381 gearbox fully locked clutch speed/conditions
Hello everyone, A couple of days ago I bought my first estate - Octavia 2.0 TSI 4x4 with DSG. I've had several automatics, but this is my first DSG and I'm starting to gather some info about it. Is there any specific speed or scenario when the clutch pack is fully locked? For example when the brakes are released and the vehicle reaches and keeps a speed without me pressing the gas pedal? I suppose when I'm on flat road and vehicle goes ~6-7 kmh / 4 mph without me pressing the brake/accelerator the clutches are fully locked, but I'm pretty sure this is not the case when going uphill. When I release the brakes (when going uphill), the speed does not go above 3-4 kmh / 2 mph so I assume the clutches are slipping in this condition and to minimize the wear I touch the accelerator slightly. Are there any tips and tricks about the gearbox when moving through traffic jams to reduce the the wear, e.g. use manual mode and stay in first gear, use sport, etc? Of course I keep the golden rules for that scenario - when the car in front of me moves by inches I don't move, I leave some distance to it to keep steady speed and not constantly hit the brakes or the accelerator and so on.
