  1. Yes, I know what you mean. I contacted my dealer. They didn't have a clue. There's nothing in the owners' manual, and the tip about the infotainment system was encouraging, but ultimately fruitless as there's no option to change the lights direction. I'm surely not the first person to want to drive my Skoda on the Continent.
  2. Hi I'll be travelling to France in September. I used to own a Saab, on which I could easily switch the headlights for European driving with a lever on each lamp. I now own a 2020 Superb iV, but I can find nothing in the handbook about this and, as I've often found, my Skoda dealer is useless. I saw your post from 9 years ago, but I can't figure out from your images what I'm supposed to do to change the direction of beam. Are you able to give any further instructions, please? I can't believe that I'm the only person with this issue. Regards Geoff
  3. My Superb iV 2020 ALLEGEDLY has an Amundsen satnav, but NO SD card or slot, according to my useless Skoda dealer, who is unable to help. (They say that if I drive there - 20 miles each way - and pay them £125, they'll do it for me, but I don't trust them). There are 2 USB ports - a USB C by the gear lever and a USB A in the central box. Does anyone have any advice on how to update the maps in this configuration, please? According to the MIB 3 instructions (which also doesn't have an SD card) the USB drive should be plugged in permanently. The car has never had a USB drive plugged in. Anyone have any experience of this?
  4. Hi all My 'local' Skoda dealer (20 miles away) informed me I needed to update the software in my Suberb iV 2020. I looked online, downloaded the map data (huge) and then looked for instructions on how to load it. The dealership assures me my satnav is an 'Amunsen', but according to the Amundsen guide online, it should have an SD card & 2 SD slots. Mine has a blanking plate. The dealership (Winchester) seem to have no idea about this, and keep sending me instructions that are useless. They now say that I have to use the USB C port in front of the gear lever, but USB drives typically come with USB A connectors, so it would need an adaptor. Also, the online instructions say the drive should be plugged in every time you drive; the car has NEVER had a USB drive and in any event, it'd be asking to be broken if plugged in there AND would prevent me connecting my phone. So has anyone else had this problem and, if so, how did they solve it? BTW, the satnav has recently gone nuts. It shows the only access road to my estate as 'no entry' at BOTH ends. When I entered a postcode for somewhere in Basingstoke, it gave me an address in Bracknell, with different numbers in the postcode. Has anyone else had similar issues?
