  1. Today my Superb got schooled by VW Touran 2.0TDI when tried to overtake him, he started accelerating and got away in black smoke... Sleeper indeed.
  2. I mostly drive in S mode, sometimes when I'am leaving roundabout, it falls to 2 speed, which is much more jumpy, jerky and agressive.
  3. Playing with my new camera
  4. If anyone interested S3 Facelift DNFE engine (2021+). In reality, this engine with continetal turbo in vanilla state gives over 310 hp and almost 430nm (gearbox limit). Almost getting on Golf 8R/Arteon R levels. Maybe similar differences between paper vs reality will apply for Superb4.
  5. Superb 2.0TSI 282PS
  6. Happy New year everyone!
  7. Finally nice complementary environment for our new toxic dragon
  8. My 280 2023 is coasting in eco/comfort modes.
  9. i tested 1.5 TSI Superb L&K before i bought my current Superb 280 and while i can say there are definitely some improvements, but also lot of step backwards, which i personally really dont understand. one big improvement are seats, which are really nice and more comfortable for sure. also infotainment seems much smoother and improved, no hickups. i think there will be less rattle potencial in superb4 interior otherwise my personal downsides comparing to my Superb 2023 sportline : - armrest is not adjustable, which is pretty big deal if you dont have right arm length and body size. - whole dash grill was super dusty even after few days, it's hell to clean it up. it doesnt remotely look as good as on first renders. - virtual cockpit looks cheap even comparing to not so great virtual cockpit in Superb3. - dash tablet was enormous sticking out and i would almost prefer smaller cheaper size. - interactive dials seems very nice to touch and look, but in reality, i don't find them very ergonomic, keep pressing and switching between modes, I miss quick access to important features through specialized buttons. - whole interior was big letdown for me because it looked so nice on first renders, fake wood pattern looked especially bad. - subjectivelly i really dont like the exterior, like AT ALL, especially combi, but thats just personal taste. - i was hoping for big improvements in road noise / wind noise department as one of my biggest complains in previous generation, but i don't find any major ones, wind noise was slightly better, road noise was better comparing to my superb3 on 19 inch bridgestone tires, but superb4 had 18 inch wheels with goodyear performance grip 2, which are quieter. - 1.5 TSI in Superb4 was quiter and more refined, but it definitely felt slower than my previous Superb 1.4 TSI 150. - Laura is still unsuable TLDR: I was personally disappointed - for one improvement, there are three downgrades, so ended up with another Superb3. Really recommend doing proper long test drive before anyone buying this car.
  10. Yeah, difference between mk2 and MK3 is not that big, maybe just width
  11. Today i found out my dashcam was full and wasn't overriding old files. Reason? G-sensor got confused after every faster acceleration and locked the file because it thought i got hit by another car
  12. I was suprised as well, it almost seems smaller than my previous octavia 2 vs previous superb when standing next to each other
  13. mint condition original superb parked next to me today
  14. Thanks guys, 1.4 TSI to 280 is nice upgrade, altough 1.4 TSI was far from slow, idle was 700-800 rpm, which was completely silent. DSG7 is pretty fast, but down/up shifting sometimes is not seamless, it's noticable when leaving roundabout for example and it shifts from 2 to 3, there is a small hiccup
  15. Hey people, I got mine 280 (2023) just recently and was surprised by few things. - engine is quite loud on idling doing 1200 revs, is it normal? It changes with dsg modes. My Previous 1.4 TSI was silent on idling. - DSG7 is not as smooth as I hoped, sometimes it changes gear pretty harshly, especially in S mode like when you let clutch too fast and car quickly decelerates. It happens not everytime.
