Hi all. I've got an 08 plate Roomster and have an issue with the doors. The drivers door locks and unlocks but when the door opens it doesn't register as being open. The internal ligjt doesn't come on, and even with the door open the car locks re-engage bout 30 seconds later. This is an issue that I can sort of live with. The other issue is the front passenger door won't unlock at all, even if I pull the handle from the inside, this is the big issue for me. I've taken the drivers door panel off to have a look and it seems the controller is connected to the window winder. Would the drivers one controller both doors or would I need to replace a separate module for each door. I've also read that there could be a totally separate controller either in the dashboard or near the steering column. Would anyone be able to shed some light on this. Also would it be a case of just plugging new parts in(Ebay 2nd hand) or is there coding needed. I really am clueless. Thanks in advance for any advice and help

Hi did you figure out what this was and how to fix it? I've got an 08 1.4d roomster scout that has just started doing the same thing.
