DSG Behavior Upshifting (small thinking)
Update for all: my mechanic drove the car - with full pedal, semi pedal and so on. His conclusion was that the transmission is okay and there are no problems with it. He said that because its Petrol its normal to hesitate if you do not apply more throttle on the pedal - the car doesn't know what to do. So we conclude this as a normal DSG behavior?

DSG Behavior Upshifting (small thinking)
Wednesday I am meeting my mechanic to investigate some noise at 80km/h only and then I will ask him what we can do with the DSG behaviour... lets see...

DSG Behavior Upshifting (small thinking)
Is this a mechanics work ?

DSG Behavior Upshifting (small thinking)
So to assume this is perfectly normal behavior and it needs adaptation ?

DSG Behavior Upshifting (small thinking)
So , is this completely normal or I should have checked it ?

DSG Behavior Upshifting (small thinking)
Sure, car is 131000km with no major services - only oil change of the dsg - the last one was before 1000km. I had the car for approx 2000km if that is relevant.

DSG Behavior Upshifting (small thinking)
Hey, I drive Scout .1.8TSI - all good but... can I ask what is the normal DSG behavior? When it upshifts on DRIVE mode it changes around 2000RPM and after dropping down to 1100-1200RPM on the next gear I feel a small hesitation/thinking of a 0.5 sec or something and then it continues to accelerate. It is strange that there is no such behavior when I manually upshift with the stick (manual mode). On manual mode after changing on the next gear its smooth as butter, no hesitation, no nothing - car continues to accelerate. Even on Sport mode after upshifting at 3000-4000rpm there is like 0,2-0,3 secs delay and accelerating again. Is it about learning? I already drove the car 1000km and no change. I tried DSG reset with the pedal - no change. Maybe a software issue? Or something else? Anything here is appreciated. Thanks

1.8TSI / 2015 - Loses Oil
UPDATE 2: Got it for one week driving, drove around 400-500km urban/extra-urban and it appears it has lost around 200ml of oil - can it be the 0W30 or I might search for another problem? Car is fine, no leaks no nothing - all good. Also I have noticed it lost very small amount of anti-freeze from the reservoir but it got water pump changed - can it be this?

1.8TSI / 2015 - Loses Oil
UPDATE: The car entered service but the mechanic said that it might lose oil since its 0W30 and he suggests 5W30 for the next change. Now he will inspect it, this week, about leaks and the turbo also and he will let me know whats going on.

I will keep the thread posted after the mechanic says his word. This might be in help for other users reading the forums.

1.8TSI / 2015 - Loses Oil
Well, I can't check for oil on the ground since this Octavia is Scout and its all with protective material under - so no oil. I am second owner and the car is with full service history (no PCV change) on 130 000km. It was sold from the official Skoda dealer here so I doubt it comes with a general oil problem. And If it had it would have been fixed under warranty. Nobody will drive brand new car 130k km with leaking 5l/10k km I guess. I will discuss this with my mechanic on Monday - maybe he will find something. They will inspect the whole turbocompressor before repairing it so if there is an oil leak from it - voala - its this. Lets see...

1.8TSI / 2015 - Loses Oil
Well, its this part: https://nasauto.bg/semering-kolqnov-val-pr8892305.html I don't know how to say it in English Could this part leak around 200-300ml for 600km? They said not a big leak. Its strange that I measure the oil everyday and it hasnt moved a mm since reaching almost the bare minimum. The repair was yesterday.

1.8TSI / 2015 - Loses Oil
They changed the crankshaft sizing. I bought it with this problem and I think it might have lost the oil from there but as I said the service center said it was a minimal leak. Is it possible to leak slowly and with small amounts the lost oil?

Also forgot to mention that they fixed a small oil leak yesterday but they said it was minimal and maybe not related to this problem. It was semmering.
