Hey!
Welcome Nicky. I'm only a "Newbie" myself, but have already found these lads to be very helpful.

Yeti Tow Bar
Just wondering if there's a simple option to attach some kind of towbar to my Yeti. Not for carrying a heavy load, just to pull my motorbike trailer. No electrics needed as it's only a narrow trailer and all my rear lights will be perfectly visible from the rear even when towing my bike trailer.

Excessive Vibrations at between 1500 - 2000rpm under load
I don't seem to have the problem if the car is higher revving, I Only noticed the problem when I was on a motorway and the traffic slowed down with, and when I went to re-engage cruise control was when I noticed the issue. if however this is normal, then I'm very happy to continue as I am very happy with the car.

Excessive Vibrations at between 1500 - 2000rpm under load
I recently bought a 2017 Skoda Yeti 2.0 Tdi. Whilst still in dealer Warranty, I noticed excessive rumbling noise when accelerating from 80 kmph to 100 kmph more specifically in 5th gear (revs between 1500 - 2000rpm). I Brought it back to the dealer who insisted that there was nothing wrong at first. They took the car to a garage that they use and their mechanic thought that there was a problem with the N/S/F drive shaft. They changed that and found that the problem is still there. They then changed the Clutch & flywheel. I have the car back now and though it is much better there is still a small bit of a rumble at the above conditions. Though it is much improved, should I Be worried?

Hello
Hi Leolito, I agree with you about many "Jap " bikes being underrated. The fact is that my "Old Vulcan" is as nice to look at / to ride / and to hear as many other (like Harley's) bikes. She's totally for cruising, but still handles as good in traffic. Just thought I'd drop an image here so you can see what I've done with the bike. Only slightly different from standard, but I Like it.

Hello
My perspective - - hmmm, now that would be interesting I guess. However, there are things I'd rather not say lol , not due to any "Non-Disclosure" agreement etc, just that so much has changed since I was working that side of the service desk, that I guess a lot has changed. Thankfully one of the changes was being implemented just before I left VW. One of the changes what I assisted in bringing in to the franchise I was working for, was to service not only VW's, but to include all vehicles in the VAG.

Hello
Hi all. Ex VW service manager “Tony” here. Recently bought a 2017 Yeti 2Ltr diesel. Used to be a Pc tech, I’m a full time carer for my disabled wife. Finally, last but by no means least I’m also a biker, I ride a 1992 1.5Ltr Kawasaki Vulcan. I think that kinda covers it all.
