Hi I recently installed reverse parking camera from AliExpress on my Octavia mk3 2019 model. I had the same thing initially when I tried to check reverse parking camera. I just plugged in to check it's suitability with infotainment system, initially screen got blank and I was only hearing sound but when I done the complete installation then it started working perfectly alright so I think it should be the same with you, you can try to install and then see if it works if you would like to playing around.

I will be doing anything like this very first time in life and I do not mind trying anything as far as not causing anything damage🤣 I wonder if you have anything to refer on how to install the camera kind of thing which I can follow step by step, I have also asked to the seller of camera on Ali Express if there is any instruction coming with the camera and unfortunately there won`t be anything with the product. @wooly4228 did you manage the camera on Octavia MK3 without coding ? if so , can you guide how did you do it ?

Hi, Thanks for the detailed guidance, it really helps. Just to ask if you can post a link if camera probably with washer option which won't need any coding and straight gets into the place. I can do some back and forth in terms of the installation but not coding.

Hello, I have skoda Octavia 2019 MK3, I am looking to install Reverse Parking Camera. I am considering Wayland (the OP from that thread) choose a Chinese self programming cameras as it's a plug and play job. Plenty of people use this style as there is no coding required. This makes them easier to install and slightly cheaper, about £40 on aliexpress. For exmaple: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000230897829.html (MQB-CAM A) Should it work in my car plugged and play my self or it will need professional installer with coding ? I know it`s mentioned there it won`t need coding but want to ensure same applies to my Skoda MK3. Will appreciate any help Thanks
