The issue must be the head unit. The glovebox cd Player only works with the original unit. You can check satnav and dab conections at the back of the unit. Satnav is the blue plug and dab the Black one. If you don't have theme, maybe the car was not fitted stock with them and therefore explains why. The person may also have fitted After market antennas, depending where they are it can also be the issue . You say don't have an external antenna so it is most likely the issue

These models have water pump Issues. The cooling system is also managed electronicaly. Do you have n'y record of a water pump job ? Did mine that was leaking last month at 121000km. The dealer told me he was amazed it lasted that Long. It's a 2014 tsi vrs. Best Take it to the dealer for inspection.

How many miles on your plugs? I do mine every 60k km My vrs did it a while, took it to the dealer and they had an ecu update. They injected it and problem solved.

yes same here. I have 2 different dongles and they react the same when left plugged in. Ony workaroung I found is unplug them when I get out. Then coming back, wait for the phone to connect to the car BT then plug the dongle back. My second dongle is carplay/android auto, when used on carplay, no issues, it only happens with AA
