Carplay connection issues
Hi all, Happy to report that in my case, on a 2019 Karoq, updating the firmware from 0475 to 0478 actually fixed the problem! *The iPhone is an Apple 14 Pro / iOS version 18.2.1 *The system I believe is Amundsen MIB2 or 2.5. Just to say, unfortunately this revelation occurred after paying hundreds of Euros for 2 different "official" Skoda garages to look into that issue, one of which replaced the USB socket, that did not work... The second place eventually came back after supposedly talking with "Manufacturer engineers", with the problem still unsolved, asking to replace the whole bloody unit for 1800EUR. Anyways I did exactly as the video shows here, completely for free: Now it works perfectly, took less then an hour all in all. Good luck.

Lane Assist (and possibly Front Assist?) NOT WORKING AT ALL // Karoq Style 1.5 TSI DSG 2019
Hi, thank you for your reply and details. I do have the camera (with the triangle opening). I spoke to the car dealer who claims that this must be due to a voluntary disconnection by the previous owner, saying it's quite common for people who don't like the system to ask for such a thing, even for a new car delivery, so the supplier actually ship the car like this. No idea if that's a real thing or not. Either way, my concern is more about the "Front Assist", assuming this system is using the same sensors...

Lane Assist (and possibly Front Assist?) NOT WORKING AT ALL // Karoq Style 1.5 TSI DSG 2019
Hi all, Please forgive me id this post is redundant, as I figured out there are issues with these features across most of Skoda's range. Yet, mine possibly is a bit more specific: Just purchased a 2nd hand Karoq yesterday, 2019 model - Style trim, as it is called in Portugal. The car has 12K Km so really in good condition, no visible marks or even scratches and alike. All seems totally fine, till I noticed at some point that the "Lane Assist" is not working, at all (tried to shift lanes just to test it, without success). Yet in the settings, the "Lane assist active" checkbox is definitely ON (with a V sign). When I log into the "Driver assistance setting" via the dashboard preview it prompts "Lane assist deactivated", though the V remains (like it's supposed to be on ini contrast to this message). 'Also worth mentioning that in the Car's Setting console, under "Lane assist" there is a line states "Adaptive Lane Guidance", with an empty checkbox. When I try to press this, it goes off after a second, like that feature cannot "grab" the ON position. Anyways, I know people are usually trying to get this feature OFF actually, but I suspect this is a symptom for a bigger software and/or sensor related problem, and I also concerned about the "Front Assist" not working, although this also shows it's ON, and this is actually a real safety issue. Would love to hear your thoughts Thank you!
