Hello, Just a little update. I went to a Skoda Service point and they found the problem. The hydraulic brake line bracket on the firewall came loose. They fixed it again and the sound was gone! E.

Can you specify what you mean by 'the old port'? I'm pretty sure the rattle comes from the pedal area below the steering wheel. The rattle is only there when the engine or the wheels are at a constant speed so it's definitely some kind of resonance frequency issue but I can't find what causes it. I tried to put my hand almost on any part I can reach in the area but the rattle keeps on going. 😞

Hello, thank you for the response but it isn't the parking ticket holder or the sun visor. It's definitely somewhere below the steering wheel and I think it's behind the dashboard. So, I'll keep on searching...

Hello, I'm trying to find out the colour code of the paint of my car. On the documents, it says Metalic Graphite Grey but I need the code to order a touch-up pen. I looked in the proposed places like the boot, under the reserve wheel, the door posts, the glove compartment and under the hood but I can't find the label. Any other places I can search? Thanks, E.

Hello, I purchased a Skoda Octavia estate 2023 with only 2500km a couple of weeks ago from a well-known and trustworthy dealer. Now, when I'm driving I have a very irritating vibrating noise at the left front (driver side) dashboard/door area. It's more profound when I drive at a steady speed, so I guess it's vibrating in sync with the engine rpm. When I started looking for the problem I discovered 3 screws (see pic) in the door storage area. I think that some kind of reparation work was done and they forgot to install those screws afterwards. I tried to reach out to the dealer but still no answer. Does someone recognise those screws and know how I can put them back in place? I can't find any information on how to access or remove this part of the car online. Thank you in advance E.
