  1. Thanks for your replay, Kenny!
  2. Hi all! "How is the two-cylinder mode activated in the Scala 1.5 TSI DSG7? No matter how much I try to drive with a light foot, in Eco mode, etc., that mode is never indicated." Thanks a lot!
  3. Hi Hobbayne. You can select red or white colors through the central screen menu ("Ambient lighting" option)...
  4. Hi. No, the ambient lighting is limited to the dashboard, in white and red colors, and also in the footwell area, but in this case, only in white. I am attaching real photos of my car. The light you see is not as intense, it’s softer. The phone camera has enhanced the intensity. I hope this helps you.
  5. Hello Jon15, My Scala 2024, with the Monte Carlo trim, features ambient lighting. It’s a soft light, only visible along the dashboard and available in just two colors, white and red (selectable through the central screen menu). I’m not sure if other trims have this type of lighting. Attached is a photo with red lighting. I hope this helps. Best regards.
  6. Hello, Zeppelin. I don't know if it's the same issue, but I can tell you that my 2024 Scala Montecarlo makes strange noises from the steering, brakes, or rear suspension, I'm not sure... It makes a lot of noise when the engine is still cold, when I'm making maneuvers turning the wheel to the left or right, or when I start driving with a cold engine and stop at a traffic light. It sounds like an old squeaky spring mattress. At the dealership, they've told me not to worry, that these cars are like that, but honestly, I've never had a car with a similar issue. I don't know if it's the same problem you're having...
  7. Indeed, as Timoctav mentioned, the update software is already available, but in Spain, they haven't notified the customers either, which I find unacceptable. When I took the car to the dealership about three weeks ago (for the issue with the noise from the steering or brakes when the car's engine is still cold), I also took the opportunity to have the software related to the airbag issue updated, and since then, everything's been fine. Many thanks to both of you for your feedback!
  8. Thanks a lot for you information, Timoctav!
  9. Hello everyone. My 2024 Scala Montecarlo, bought in April, is making a noise like an old spring mattress when I maneuver and it's still cold or when I stop the vehicle after starting to drive. It only happens when it's cold, and the issue disappears once the engine warms up. When maneuvering, turning the steering wheel to the right and left generates this noise, especially if the brake pedal is pressed simultaneously. I took it to the dealership, and after comparing it with other similar vehicles, they told me it's completely normal and that I shouldn't worry. Has this happened to anyone else? Honestly, this is the first car I've had with this issue. Thank you very much!
  10. Hi, Lovebucket! Yes, the 2024 Skoda Monte Carlo comes with a panoramic roof, but honestly... I don't know where the antenna is, sorry.
  11. Four months ago I acquired a Scala Montecarlo 1.5 tsi dsg 7 with 150 horsepower. For me, the power is more than enough, the car runs... a lot! It is true that the DSG box provides relaxed driving and is aimed at achieving low fuel consumption (in my case, 6.1 l/100 km on average). But as soon as you step on the accelerator the car accelerates very strongly and leaves the rest behind. I liked the scala with manual transmission, I think I could feel the engine more powerful, but I was scared by the comments about the famous noises of manual gearboxes (which seem not to exist in automatic gearboxes). I don't regret buying it with DSG, at any time you can drive in automatic sport mode (slightly more revved engine and better response) or even in "pure" manual mode. Otherwise, delighted with the car, comfortable but efficient on the road. And great interior space! I hope my opinion helps you!
  12. Thanks a lot! I'll take the car to the dealer. I feel better knowing that there are no damaged parts and it's a software bug.🙂
  13. Looks nice! Good job!
  14. Hi all! My Scala is barely two months old. Everything was going perfectly until, suddenly, an error text appeared in the cockpit when starting the vehicle. The message "Error: airbag" is displayed. And the corresponding yellow warning light remains on until the engine is turned off. I have checked the connections under the front seats but everything seems ok. Anyone ever happened something similar? Any ideas? Thank you!
  15. I' m a new Skoda Scala Happy owner. Just 2 months since I've bought the car and... What can I say? It's perfect! Mine is a White Moon Montecarlo 1.5 tsi dsg 7. I Hope I can collaborate in the forum despite my poor english! Thanks!
