Has anyone successfully wired their dashcam to activate when unlocking the vehicle, rather than starting up with the ignition? I'm aiming to prevent parking incident false positives when loading into the car. It's acceptable for the dashcam to return to parking mode upon ignition off OR locking the vehicle, as it has a configurable parking mode delay. The challenge is ensuring the dashcam powers on BEFORE entering the vehicle. I've heard about using a SPDT relay connected to the unlock/KESSY/comfort fuse. Could anyone share their experience or provide insights on this setup? Thanks for any help or advice!

I had a new Octavia loan car yesterday that allowed me to press the aircon 'MENU' button again after changing climate settings and it returned to AA. In my mkIII superb once i'm in aircon controls, the climate control 'MENU' button doesn't do anything and I need to press MENU on the infotainment and then smartlink/AA to get back to it. Is there no way to 'return' from the the climate settings back to what you were using on the infotainment in a single button?
