Brilliant work. But quite frankly, this shouldn’t be happening. Mine has been in a full infotainment system replacement, then for gear selector lever replacement, then SOS button repair. Whilst in for SOS button repair they say there’s a campaign for the selector lever issue. Shame, already had that issue. Today, less than 10mi into my journey home and a whole world of hassle, SOS button fails again. Shocking from Skoda really with these issues. Amongst all these problems I’ve had a washer pump fail and the front suspension rear bushes are on their way out. Problems galore, very disappointing from what would otherwise be a brilliant vehicle. Check with your local Skoda dealer for the selector leaver campaign so you don’t have the same misfortune on that as I had!

This was my issue. Easy access underneath the windscreen.

How did you resolve this? Got the same problem here. Headlamp washers work fine, rear windscreen washer seems to be weaker than normal and front windscreen just dribble or don’t work at all.

Yes had the unit replaced and all working as it should now.

What needed repairing? I’ve had this pop up this morning. So aggravating.

Full infotainment system replacement for me. Awaiting the unit as it’s on back order. Software was already 1941, seems as though the unit overheats and then just does what it wants. Poor really, they should recall affected models and replace if it’s this widespread.

Didn’t work for me either. I’ve reset to all factory settings and finally think I have a temp solution where it won’t be on and off all night and danger of overheating. Not ideal in any way, saves disconnecting the battery all night though. Strange there are more reports recently, could it be the latest app software update that’s kicked these issues off? If anyone finds a reliable long term solution please update. Will be trying to get a fix on the warranty but if it’s firmware I’ll have to pay out 😢

Unbelievable.

Same issue here. Started with the volume slider turning up on its own. Now the infotainment system today has been turning on and off and on whilst car is parked and locked. Very aggravating. Have just disconnected the battery to see if that helps. Into Skoda it goes…
