  1. One way valve? Sorry I'm pretty useless when it comes to knowing the components and terminology that's associated. Is the valve on the engine that the hose goes on to? I've also noticed a strong smell of fuel from the exhaust whilst it's running. Could the fuel system be the cause of a misfire?
  2. No, upon start up, it sits over 1000 and then after about 5 mins drops down below 1000 then starts misfiring and engine running very rough.
  3. No splits in brake servo hose ( yes I found it behind the brake fluid reservoir lol). However I don't think the hose sits very well in the brake servo. I don't know how easy it should be to pull the hose out of the brake servo but it pulls out very easily.
  4. Is this this brake servo hose? If so, why is it full of coolant? I want to take it off to make sure it has no splits... that being said, if it hasn't leaked coolant, surely there's no splits?
  5. Just mot'd it and this is what it failed on
  6. Thanks, Pete. I'm not a mechanic by any means. Could you also tell me what/where the brake servo vac hose is? Really appreciate the help. As for the battery top fuse holder, whats missing? I got the car for nothing so I can't complain really.
  7. So I have a fault code - P0171. I've been told it's a maf/map sensor. Where the hell Is it? 😂 Thanks In advance.
