Hi all, a few weeks ago my oil cooler blew and so I brought it to a garage to get it all sorted out. Since then I've had some oil in my coolant tank but this was expected, so I rinsed it out and seems all good now. Today when I was driving I noticed that my engine temp was low and I had driving for quite a long time. I put my foot down for 5 mins or so to get it back up to operating temperature but then when I started driving normally again it gradually dropped to about a quarter of the gauge so roughly 45. I was just wondering what could be causing this. Could it just be that my coolant system is running more efficiently now that it's been flushed? Any help is greatly appreciated 🙏

So.. I tried to remove the front badge on my 2008 skoda octavia and it didn't go too well. I held the heat gun there for a but too long and it started to make the chrome bubble up. I have 2 options I'm either gonna fix the one I have and spray it all black or buy a replacement grill. I can't see the point in buying an original grill. Does anyone know of some nice looking aftermarket grills?

Thank you very much for your input its much appreciated, all I've done so far is HID's, tints and wind deflectors 🤣 the rear wiper delete is a good idea because to be honest mine has never worked... needs a new motor as far as I know because its getting power. Also MK3 gearnob does look alot better, same threads I assume? I still don't know about side skirts etc. I am slowly convincing myself to bite the bullet and buy them 😅 thanks again!

Was just wondering if there is any fairly legal way to make my skoda a bit louder? (2008 skoda octavia vrs 2.0L diesel) I wouldn't mind a bit of a growl to the car as its too quiet at the moment. I don't know if this is relevant but my DPF is unfortunately already gutted. I know there is alot of controversy about this but didn't know at the time and was advised to do it 😕 Any input is appreciated!
