So.. I tried to remove the front badge on my 2008 skoda octavia and it didn't go too well. I held the heat gun there for a but too long and it started to make the chrome bubble up. I have 2 options I'm either gonna fix the one I have and spray it all black or buy a replacement grill. I can't see the point in buying an original grill.

Does anyone know of some nice looking aftermarket grills?

Try breakers if you destroyed it and want original, isnt there screws in behind holding the badge on, I replaced mine around 2 years back.

I do like the ones I've seen where say red body, all the chrome was sprayed red and looks the business.

Looking at doing few bits to mine also to get back on the road
