  1. Hello folks, This is my first post and I would like some clarification on something please. Today we have replaced the entire exhaust system on my partners 1.6 TDi Fabia. The reason it has been replaced is because the exhaust was very rotten and holed in several places. I got hold of a nearly new aftermarket cat/dpf unit off eBay which had all sensors and probes still attached. The mid pipe and back box was from a local factors. Sub frame and steering rack off it is dead easy to change. However I was expecting issues with fault lights and limp mode when I started the car because of the need to reset the DPF counter. But I started the car and it seems to run fine, plenty of power and no limp mode or warning lights. Is there anything I need to be concerned about and do I need to get it plugged in and the DPF reset and differential sensor calibrated or something? I have and obdeleven scanner but I don't think it can do these things without paying a subscription. I was building up to have a headache once it was all fitted and it hasn't been the case this far. Should I be concerned? Thanks. Kind regards, Graham
