  1. Thanks for the suggestion. I changed the battery quite recently - certainly within the last 6 months.
  2. Hi folks. I have 2013 superb, owned from new. 140k on the clock. It seems to be developing electrical gremlins. The 12 v sockets stopped working a while ago. Got them fixed but they stopped again. Infotainment unit displayed and error code which won't go off and drains the battery (have disconnected it). Have a bulb sign on dash permanently illuminated, although can't find any bulbs not working. Now I periodically get lots of warning lights on at once (abs, traction control, power steering, bulb), all of which then go off again without me doing anything. Mechanically the car has been flawless, other that an air con problem a few years ago. Are electrical faults a common problem with ageing mk 2 Superbs? I do not know of any auto electricians round here to take it to.
  3. I have the same problem with my 2013 Superb. I looked what the problem is and how to fix it, but none of our laptops have cd drives. Tried main dealer, telling them what the problem is, but they will not help, saying I need to book it in for a diagnostic test costing £120. They will just take the money and say the unit needs replacing. So I got a third party replacement unit off the net, but each time I connect it up it the fuse blows. Don't seem to be any auto electricians round here, and don't want to pay vast amounts for main dealer to fix it. Bit stuck now.
