  1. Have a MK2 Selection and like it very much overall, keep wondering though about the back trim(don't know what the actual phrase is) highlighted in the pic. Why did Skoda make a decision to do it in black for Selection models and in red for Sel+ My car is black so it doesn't look off but I've seen grey and blue ones on the road with it and it looks out of place!
  2. Checked the assist options and by the looks of it, there's no way to adjust sensitivity though the menu.
  3. Have one since mid August and so far these are the few things that I hope could be fixed with software update: - Easy switch Smart Link if it accidentally turns my wife's CarPlay first instead of my AndroidAuto. It's doable, but have to scroll through a lot of menus to do so. -Better sync of personal settings with 2 keys. Occasionally, when I open the car with my key, the system will still think it's my wife and apply her personal settings (seat position etc). You can't change user until the ignition is on and by that time I'm completely crushing into the steering wheel (wife is short) - First thing I do every time after starting the car is turn of lane assist and speed warning from the steering wheel's quick menu. the panel occasionally freezes when your smart link is connecting at the same time leaving the left side of the virtual cockpit unusable unless you turn the car off and on again. - Front collision warning needs to be substantially less sensitive in my opinion. Love the car otherwise and these are just few quirks that I'm sure can be polished out
  4. That's answers that, thanks a mill. Like I said, not a deal breaker but would definitely prefer to have the option of closing both compartments - looks cleaner this way. Weird choice for a point of difference between trims by Skoda.
  5. Getting a Kodiaq 2.0 TDI Selection in 2 weeks time. Happy with our choice just 1 thing I'm not sure of. In the marketing materials the centre console has 2 flaps to close it, the long one from the arm rest side and shorter one, above the phone chargers closing from the main dash side. In the dealers display model for Selection with Loft interior I didn't notice that the shorter flap is present thus leaving the phone space constantly open. Not a deal breaker by any means but would like to know if this is in fact correct and the console closes fully on higher spec models only? Thanks
