The micro switch does not appear to be doing anything but if it wasn't working would it not show as bonnet open on dash?

Hi, I have a2012 1.6 tdi Skoda Fabia, my front windscreen wipers have stopped working on the intermittent setting, I read somewhere it would be the stalk but after replacing that the windscreen wipers still don't work on intermittent, everything else works on the stalk it's just this fault, I'm thinking now of replacing the wiper motor but I'd like to see if anyone else has had this problem and if there is something else I should check? Thanks

Hi, I have a 2012 Fabia 1.6 TDI estate, I often leave my dog in the car for short periods, I have followed the instructions in the handbook for turning off interior sensors for the alarm but I'm finding it doesn't work, the switch to disable interior sensors is red, when I press it in the light goes off but when I release it it goes back red, should it stay red or should it change colour to show it's activated?,
