  1. As RustyNuts' nuts seemed to have permanently seized I found and used another chap that can repair the Columbus and other models:- https://navitex.co.uk/repair-service/skoda-columbus-rns510-sat-nav-repair-service/ Andrei fixed my unit within a day and shipped it back to me the next. All problems have been resolved and he is highly recommended.
  2. Hi Rustynuts, I have a Columbus RNS510 from a 2011 Skoda Superb. It developed the proverbial reboot loop a few months back. So I replaced the hard disk with a SSD and upgraded the firmware and maps. However it now intermittently switches off either rebooting immediately or remaining off for varying lengths of time and then rebooting. I have read online that this may be related to the power supply or mainboard. Would you be able to help? Cheers, Mark.
