  1. It's a mk 2 octavia CEGA Tdi from 2008 Prfl with DSG, After a hard acceleration the gearbox started making an akword noise ... it's like a whining .... It starts from 1k rpm to 2k rpm , after 2 days even in Reverse it makes the same whining noise Clutches don't slip , Gearchanges are ok , The flywheel was changed last year , oil and filter replaced wheel bearings ar all ok , no problems at the driveshafts , no oil leaking from the gearbox . Could it be some bearing from the gearbox giving up ? Thanx
  2. The problem was The interior heat exchanger , it was coughed changed it , and now everything is ok Thanks !
  3. Hy there ! Have some coolant problems with a Mk2 Octavia Vrs TDI Dsg from 2008 it has the Cr engine in it , CEGA Few months ago when the DPF was doing it’s regen , warning light on the dash appeared: Coolant level Low stoped the car and opened the bonnet the antifreeze jug was empty …. when i opened the lid all the coolant came back in the jug …but loosing some coolant , it wasn’t att normal level . After inspecting the car at 2 mechanics, they found the EGR cooler leaking and full of antifreeze Changed the part with a genuine Vw part But the problem is that now every-time the cars doing it’s Dpf regen , the coolant disappears from the jug and after opening it it reappears at normal level The mechanic Tested it for head gasket failure( gases in the cooling sistem) , pressurized the sistem with vacum and everything seems ok …. Has anyone had this kind of a problem , and found some kind of a solution ? Please help me, any ideas are appreciated Ps , when i start the car in the morning, it sounds like wather is flowing trough the inside heater exchanger … It takes a long time for the coolant to reach 90’ , and after that it stops blowing heat trough the vents , but if i open the coolant reservoir… it starts blowing warm again

Hey there, i have a skoda octavia mk 2 vrs from 2008 2.0 tdi CEGA CR , yesterday after a short drive the engine started vibrating and some smoke came from exhaust , Er code : rail pressure to high on vcds it the injector qt are all messed up … and the high fuel pressure control deviation keeps jumping from -20 to + 30 on idle Mentioning that the injector seals where changed like 1.000 km ago, and everything was all right till yesterday What should i expect from it ? 🤨 Thanks

Hy , i’ve bought recently a Octavia Vrs 2 2.0 Tdi Cega Engine code , After the car sits for like 2-3 weeks , it won’t crank the first 2 times and after that starts roughly and starts smoking and like wather coming out of the exhaust continuously First time i changed the spark plugs oil and filters , the problem disappeared After 2 weeks it did the same thing , started 3 rd time and the smoke came back …. This time The mechanic changed The Egr Cooler/Radiator , new timing belt kit wather pump etc Drove like new for like 2-3000 km , after that the car stood again for like 3 weeks This time the same old thing … started after 2-3 key turns and When it started … again the smoke reappeared …… What could cause the problem ? Please some help ? Anyone had the same problem ?
