Update to Version 1969
Thank you very much Dillinger! Probably yes. I am not 100% sure since I cannot enter mine anymore and I do not remember the menu. Do you know if there is another menu to push (for example HMI versions) where a list shows many components of the car and each software? Last question, is your car produced for European market? I am in Italy and maybe the production change when it is for another market. But from the picture I really think it is similar to mine. Many many thanks

Update to Version 1969
Thank you. Skoda does not help me: their answer is only to replace the infotainment mainboard: around 2k€! I am talking with independent technicians and talking with them, I need help for what I wrote: if anybody with Columbus can enter the engineering mode and make pictures/video to show the current software versions. Can anybody help? Thanks

Update to Version 1969
Dear @aaaaplay Is this the software version you had in a Skoda Octavia 2020> ? From the picture I think it is a Columbus infotainment, isn't it? Thanks

Update to Version 1969
Hi guys, unfortunately my infotainment has not been repaired yet. Please I need an info. I know I was starting from v1941. Has anybody a picture, in the engineering mode of the Columbus infotainment of an Octavia iv with v1941, where it can be read the current infotainment version? I mean, not only "1941" but all the name/information. Thanks

Update to Version 1969
I was updating to v1969. It was working, then I got an error. Now I am always in the engineering mode, I cannot escape it. I can only reboot it, but it goes automatically in the engineering mode. If I put a USB stick it does not read it anymore, or anyway, it does not give me any chance to select it and try a new update. Even if the USB stick contains the v1969 or v1941 (to answer you on the other topic)

Second Hand Car - Never been Update (Infotainment systems - 1803)
@dima_vy and @SteveTheElder I did by myself an update from v1941 to v1969: Unfortunately I have blocked the system and it seems I cannot solve it by myself. I would never do it again 😞

Update to Version 1969
No idea how to proceed. I have tried only to disconnect the car battery for around 10 mins. When back, nothing changed

Update to Version 1969
Hi @TheWanderer thanks, but we should jump the step you wrote. Everything was exatly as you descripted: only the two folders and one file. I used WinRar to extract. As I wrote in my first post, the update was running correctly. First phase MIB3OI_MCU reached 100%. Then the problem started and I am still there 😞 I think something has been demaged - I do not know how and why - inside the unit.

Update to Version 1969
Thanks guys. @SLeeperking you are right the engineering menu has 4 options when you enter it. But mine is in another status. It is like it has already entered the update menu and cannot escape it because it is not finished. As I reboot, it goes always there. @djmartzian I do not know if it will help, but at the moment URL is wrong Any idea if the cause could be the car battery? I mean, in some technical documents I found that the technicians should connect the car battery to a charger before to start. The only thing I made it was to have the car engine ON while I was making the update.

Update to Version 1969
I am already in the hidden menu and I cannot excape it. Also if I restart it (push 10 seconds the on/off display button) or I unplug/plugh the infotainment fuse, it restarts and shows directly the hidden menu
