I've had this problem and seem to have resolved it. The pipes run down the A-pillars. They drain into the engine bay but under the scuttle board infront if the windscreen. I found my removing the 3 clips holding the scuttle board in and the shaped seal strip, i could lift the scuttle board enough to reach in and feel for the pipes. They're far back, and right under the A-pillars but I could then "massage" them and felt all the gunk come out. For completeness, I probably had most of my forearm under the scuttle board- the pipes are a long way back. On the drivers side, you have to reach past the wiper motor too.
