  1. I understand now. I am struggling to find a local car key programmer. I am based in the north west if you know anyone please let me know.
  2. Hi, I have the non flip style key and has keyless entry system like all new cars with a push start button .The metal blade key is also missing. So what options do I have? Is it going to be Skoda dealer only?
  3. Can you share the Albanian guys details?
  4. I only have one key for my Skoda Kodiaq. To which I have lost my car key blade. To make the matters worse I never received the spare key. Now to make the spare key and the blade do I have to go to Skoda or can somebody else do it? It's a not flip blade key (keyless start)
  5. Hi. The airbag removal isn't a big deal. Plenty of videos on YouTube showing you how to do it. It's the same for all VW, Skoda cars. Just to be sure disconnect the battery for playing with it. The squib is also standard for VW and Skoda cars. Find one with extra connectors for heated steering wheel. Don't bother with the kufatec kit that's extortionate. I bought mine from ali express and it cost 12 quid. Only thing is you will have to extend the fuse box and earthing wire that doesn't cost as much as a kufatec wiring kit (40ish quid wiring kit and 50ish quid postage). Find steering wheel that fits your car. Confirm if your cruise control etc is on the steering or on the stalk. I hope above helps
  6. Thanks for the information. I have parked up the idea of heated steering wheel for now. I have ordered a squib and the harness. However I got to sort out some other things with it atm.
  7. Just working out cost of everything. I have sourced the squib, the steering wheel. So it's all good till that. Beggar belief Kufatec want 52 euros in postage for the adaptor harness that cost 40 off euros to buy. From Germany to England who would pay 52 euros in postage for an item that fits palm of your hand.
  8. Hi all. New to this forum. I have just bought a kodiaq 2023 Sportline diesel 4x4. I'm sure this has been discussed before. But the thread seems to have gotten lost in to a different Skoda model. Here the question. Will someone know the clock spring (squib) part number for the kodiaq that supports the heated steering wheel? I have sourced a heated steering wheel and the kufatec harness. Just not sure about the clock spring. Can someone share the part number for the clock spring (squib).
  9. Hi. Mine is the facelift model. So it is the Mk2 skoda right?
  10. Possibly the wrong forum but please could I have the part number for the clock spring you used?
