Hello, Apologies to dig up an old thread, not sure if the users are still active but I have been searching for answers for this noise also, I actually have a 2014 1.2 Polo TSI and this thread is the only place I have found that sounds similar to mine. Not sure if there was a fix found for this or maybe it is just a normal noise for this TSI model but on my car it is very loud... someone has also commented to say it sounds like I have an issue with my exhaust. Please see video of the recording I made, you can hear it around 4/5 seconds in and once I shift to 2nd gear you can hear it a bit quieter around 9/10 seconds in. Any help would be appreciated.
