Service Question
I phoned Skoda dealer this morning about my car could get Changed from fixed to variable service. I was first told f it was longlife oil that it takes then it is a 20,000 mile service if not then 10,000 miles. He checked the registration and told me it is every 10,000 mls. So why can't they use long life oil in the cars first service which is due shortly and then change to the 20,000 ml service. I think there at it to get more money. What do you think. I am asking in the octavia forum because I have a 2024 Octavia. I just forgot to change my profile.- Service Question
My car is due a service shortly. If I do a DIY service with the correct oil and filters will that void my warranty or do I have to get the dealer or reputable garage to do this. If I do this DIY how would I keep a record of services to show if I want to sell. Cheers for any replies Andy - Service Question
