  1. Cheers. What were the symptoms of your fuel pump failing? I changed my fuel filter after first noticing it was hard to start.

  3. Good morning Yeti owners! I've recently been having problems with my 2.0L Tdi 4x4 Yeti starting from cold. I find I have to crank it for 3 4 seconds before it starts and to get around it, I blip start it for half a turn then off then start it again and it fires up no issues. Almost like there is no initial fuel pressure. I've owned a few VW diesels and you can always hear the fuel pump coming to life as soon as you put the key in the ignition. My question to other Yeti diesel owners is this. Can you hear your fuel pump coming to life before you start cranking?? Mine is silent. (Also posted in the UK Yeti owners club)

Did you solve it? It's almost certainly a failed ABS wheel sensor or a worse case scenario, the disk (rotator) ring. I ended up buying a plug in fault code reader to find out which one failed. I simply replaced the sensor with a new Ebay sensor for £15. It's a 15 minute job.
