Ok, the screw in mine snapped on the weekend, the strut ended up scratching the inside of the car. Pretty annoyed as I do get my car serviced by Skoda. When I rang them to bring it in, they told me there was a recall about this specific issue. Something easily fixed with servicing now has to get approved meaning 2 visits and a small respray..annoying as this is exactly why you have a recall.
