Update on this. - I long-pressed on the menu button, which gave me access to the Service menu. - Then I got the SW Train and put it into mib-helper.com. - The website informed me that the latest compatible update was 0490, so I got that installed. It seems to work with no issues. - I was a bit skeptical at first to perform the install as I saw rumblings of a possible `DTC 1555 / B201A` error, but my system did not have that. - So, In summary, everything works great. I hope this helps If anybody else want to do this. Some questions though. I saw somewhere about a SmartLink function, is it not supported on this model of MQB? I was half expecting to see something after the update, but nope.
