  1. I too have been hearing dings at changes of speed limits. It is particularly noticeable at road junctions and roundabouts etc. where there may be more than one change of limit.
  2. These things happen. As mentioned previously, no need to delve into the settings if you add the Auto Hold shortcut to the top menu.
  3. I always give the brake pedal a firm press to ensure that the Auto Hold is active. It sometimes will not set if you use a light brake pressure.
  4. Skoda map updates are at least 1 year late. The traffic jam function appears reliable though.
  5. Regarding the manual, you can install the MySkoda app on a smartphone, enter your details, VIN etc, and then get detailed instructions for your model from the app. If you don't have a smartphone, you're in the dark I'm afraid. A useful function in the app, is that you can enter the price of fuel, and it will tell you the costs of your journeys each day.
  6. The front assist and auto hold should be disabled in car washes.
  7. I had my Viofo professionally fitted and can highly recommend it. It's essential if you want to record in parking mode. If you are fitting a Viofo, or possibly other cams, here is s list of installers. https://viofouk.co.uk/installers/
  8. There is a phone eSim in the car's system that it uses for software updates and to provide location information about your car. So it's the car's phone network connection and location that disconnects. Look up eSim in your digital manual.
