Skoda Yeti Fixed position roof bars
Thankyou all for your helpful suggestions. I managed to source a Halfords 420 roof box at a very competitive price on EBay . It fits our needs and our Yetti fixed OEM roof bars perfectly. Even clears the Ariel. If any one is thinking of buying roof box / roof rack etc then take a look at skid-1972 on EBay and his amazing feedback. Free postage too and free advice 👍

Skoda Yeti Fixed position roof bars
The rear overhang could clearly be a problem or alternatively the longer front overhang if I bought a box that was too long would in my mind be an issue . The rear tailgate would not open without colliding with the rear end and if too much box was in front of the front bar then surely that would not be good when loaded ?? Or am I imagining it ?

Skoda Yeti Fixed position roof bars
Hi all can someone please advise me what roof box will fit onto the fixed position ( no fore or aft adjustment) Skoda roof bars on my 2015 Yeti. There is no adjustment on the bars possible as they fit over studs in the roof rails . In my opinion they sit a little far back and I am concerned regarding the rear part of any box fouling the rear boot hatch opening. Obviously I may have to change the rubber flexi aerial to a stubby one but that aside it’s the rear overhang that concerns me . Have given myself a head ache trying to research on net !!

Dash and radio clock are different times
I seem to have lost the plot on this thread … see several posts from Andrew about editing / new topic / new thread etc but not sure what all that means ? I was hoping for clarification from Eddie_NL who stated he knows how to sort out this annoying issue and has indeed done so himself. Am I in the right thread to see this reply or has it all changed and I should be looking at some new thread or other ?

Hi Eddie-NL I would be very grateful if you could tell me how you sorted this issue out ?

Dash and radio clock are different times
I agree re the 1600! However I have a comprehensive warranty with Skoda and if SNS or anyone could be more specific about the repair then I could counter their “we don’t know what it is, never heard of that before “ and get it fixed under warranty. However just saying it’s a fault within the Speedo / rev counter head unit isn’t cutting the mustard with them . Disproving their know nothing excuse needs me to give them facts and at present I do not have enough detail. I take nothing away from SNS and their ability but as a pensioner with mobility issues I cannot do a four hour each way journey to SNS in Surbiton . I need to get my Skoda dealer to acknowledge the fault especially tlas SNS stated some of them do actually .. hope that all makes sense to someone.

How I wished I lived closer to SNS in surbiton as having had a look at there website can see what fantastic reviews they have ! However it would be a four hour drive each way . I just wish someone would be specific about which Skoda main agents actually know how to repair the issue as I could use this info when my one says they have no idea and never even heard of this much discussed clock sync issue.

I am more than aware that main dealers know how to charge 😂 and can be extremely expensive. What I don’t understand is why non and I do mean non of the many Skoda dealers I have called and also those who many others with the same fault have contacted have not offered this repair ? Albeit it is allegedly far dearer than what presumably your company charges? To be fair Skoda have never shied away from giving quotes for work in my experience. Even when the price is far in excess of what an independent might charge . You do sound a fair bit cheaper … how do you know they charge £1600 ? If I could tell my Skoda dealer which of their dealerships told you this i would be able to get it repaired under my warranty so can you help and give me that detail please ?

Dash and radio clock are different times
Is SNS poster the same as Satnav Systems Surbiton ? Also if Skoda main dealers can do it for around £1600 as stated why has no other posters such as myself been offered this fix by them ? As far as I have read on many posts on this subject non of the Skoda dealerships have even identified the problem let alone suggested a fix ? What Hardware may need changing?

Dash and radio clock are different times
Thanks for your suggestions to date . If I take the fuse out for a while and reconnect the radio will I need a code to re start this bolero unit or will it just come on as before ?

Dash and radio clock are different times
I have recently noticed my 2015 skoda yeti outdoor 2.0d has developed the same issue !! Infotainment clock will not change to the correct time as displayed in the mfd screen. Flicks between 12.00 and 12.28 now and then but usually sits at 0.00. Tried reset etc all to no avail … has been regularly serviced by main dealer who say they have not heard of this issue before and have no idea! It is a bolero unit ( no sat nav) I despair ! Any help will be gratefully received !
