Wow that’s for the information, we don’t unfortunately have the car any more, think it must of had a hard life after you, the bottom end started knocking, so we ended up selling it to a garage who replaced the engine so it’s still on the road. Hi all, Looking for some advice on what my 2011 Škoda Fabia vRS might be worth as it stands, and to see if there’s any interest from someone who wants a project or is up for an engine rebuild or swap. Car details: Model: Škoda Fabia vRS DSG Year: 2011 Mileage: 108,000 miles MOT: Until August 2025 (I believe – can double check) Service history: Part service history Location: Blackpool Known issue: The engine has a bottom end bearing issue — there’s a knock under load, so it’s likely on borrowed time. It still starts and drives. Apart from that, the DSG box still feels fine, and the body is decent overall for the age. Just trying to figure out what it might be worth as-is before I decide whether to fix it or move it on.
