Possible bottom end bearing.

Hi all,

Looking for some advice on what my 2011 Škoda Fabia vRS might be worth as it stands, and to see if there’s any interest from someone who wants a project or is up for an engine rebuild or swap.

Car details:

• Model: Škoda Fabia vRS DSG

• Year: 2011

• Mileage: 108,000 miles

• MOT: Until August 2025 (I believe – can double check)

• Service history: Part service history

• Location: Blackpool

Known issue:

The engine has a bottom end bearing issue — there’s a knock under load, so it’s likely on borrowed time. It still starts and drives.

Apart from that, the DSG box still feels fine, and the body is decent overall for the age. Just trying to figure out what it might be worth as-is before I decide whether to fix it or move it on.
