  1. Tested, and even with the icons on the bottom, tapping either app puts it to fullscreen now. Annoying. Another thing I've noticed on Android Auto is that a "Home" tile shows above the app which is on 1/3 of the screen that seemingly does nothing. Tapping it just allows the 1/3 app maximize vertically and reverts things to normal.
  2. Will test this once I'm in the car this evening. Not sure I could live with the icons being on the bottom, though. 🙈
  3. 👋 Just picked up my Octavia last week and got prompted for the 1985 update last night. I know exactly what you mean. I enjoyed being able to choose which app took up 2/3 of the screen with a single tap. After the update whichever app I tap now goes fullscreen and I need to tap the icon in the toolbar to bring back the split view.
