Throttle lag resolution
I second that, all I can seem to find is a tuning company rather than a component, is that correct?

Throttle lag resolution
They don't work as I've explained, they cannot dictate when the power comes in. That is very grumpy, some might say you're trying to sound insulting without trying to be out-right abusive, and you're completely wrong. If you don't have anything productive to insert into the conversation why interject?

Throttle lag resolution
Sounds like what I've done with Carista, but the lag is still evident. I'll have another look at the customisation when I get chance to make sure it stuck.

Throttle lag resolution
I always use sport mode, i did the throttle change using Carista.

Throttle lag resolution
Anyone actually know of a way to alter the throttle response timing without getting a full ECU remap (i still have dealer warranty)? Some people have mentioned changing a code to Audi, is that not the same as setting the throttle to linear when it is set to progressive as default, I've done linear and the lag is still present, you just get a kick up the butt when the power does come in. Throttle boxes don't work, they don't dictate when the power comes in, they just fool the ECU with the position the throttle pedal is in, so if your pedal is at say 25% it tells the ECU it is at 60% for example, so when the power does come in you again just get a bigger kick up the butt. The delay is real, while it can feel like 2 or 3 seconds when you want to pull out on a busy roundabout, it's probably about 0.5 seconds but you're in panic mode, it must be a safety and/or longevity thing, to make you take less risk (but it can actually put you in more danger if you don'taccount for the delay), or is it to preserve the life of the DSG, flywheels, whatever?

Kodiaq 2018 Availability of Body Panels
i've been waiting for an interior sill trim since Christmas that is apparently on back order (dealer repair), other dealers have them in stock as do other sites online, but my dealer is waiting for one to come direct from Skoda (or waiting for me to forget), maybe Skoda have certain rules for parts acquisitions?

Sportline TDI exhaust upgrade?
that chrome strip, the lack of tailpipes, it's starting to bug me. i didn't think i'd be too bothered by the whole fake exhaust/no visible exhaust fashion but after living with the car for a while i want to change it. Even Audi has a new selling point of "genuine exhausts" for the A4 A5 so hopefully that craze is coming to an end soon. Now obviously, that objectively silly looking rear trim means i can't simply go down the custom exhaust fabricator and have a nice stainless backbox installed with some custom tips, so i was wondering if anyone has done anything, or has any advice? it's looks like any option will require swapping out the lower rear bumper trim with the RS one, but will the part even fit? would my options be limited to; The expensive option - getting an RS diffuser/trim (£158), the tail pipe trims (£140x2) the tailpipe trim hangers (£70x2), and a VRS backbox (£350 probably second hand off ebay) - total of £928 The slightly less expensive option - getting an RS diffuser/trim (£158), custom back box with twin tails (£500-£700) - total £658-£858) i'd rather not bodge the current rear trim by hacking into it like Leather Face when he sees a group of horny teen virgins and blacking out whatever remained of the chrome as i think that would be quite difficult to make look right.

Intermittent ACC 2019 Kodiaq L&K
Seems to be a common issue on them all from reading other very similar topics/threads/posts, it tends to happen when the car has been sat for a fair while so might just be voltage related. ACC and horn will both not work until the car is restarted. might be worth cycling the power once before starting if you've left it sat for a while. mine did it the day i collected from the dealer after it had been sat for a week, not done it since but i drive a fair distance every day for work.

Closing down 2G/3G network and eCall service
yeah i'm still searching for a remedy/upgrade but it doesn't look like it will ever exist, VW and Audi of America have partner with a something called Motion by Mojo but at a cost of around $300 per customer and it's only available in the US, they do an upgrade at the dealer. In Europe it appears VAG have washed their hands of it, things might be more strict in the US with their lawsuit culture so they have to do something. Interestingly the top AI hit on google they recommend "Consider a new Skoda: If you need 4G connectivity, buying a newer Skoda model that supports 4G and 5G networks might be the best solution." I'm not an expert but i doubt it would be a huge undertaking to create a module that plugs into the car that receives and transmits 4G/5G but provides the car a "wired" 2G/3G signal, kind of like a relay unit.

Closing down 2G/3G network and eCall service
just found this on https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/cbp-9959/ whether that means VAG/Skoda and any other manufacturer has to do something is another matter. I know you're in Sweden but i can't imagine we're that much different especially if by law you need to have working for your annual roadworthiness, your Gmen should be putting pressure on VAG for a fix. i found a survey regarding 2G/3G eCall cars in Sweden, i think it said there are nearly 2 million cars in the same boat as you, built between 2018 and 2023 many of which probably have 2G/3G eCall. Providing a fix is not prohibitively expensive i'd probably donate a percentage to "the upgrade" since talks of turning of 2G/3G were well before 2019 it really was quite short-sighted/penny pinching to install what was already outdated tech, especially in countries where it is a legal requirement. Saying that; governments mandated eCall in new cars, and said they must be 2G/3G, then pulled the rug from under the manufacturers when they pulled the plug on 2G/3G so who is to blame?

Closing down 2G/3G network and eCall service
Just found this on Skoda's site https://www.skoda-auto.com/connectivity/2g-3g-sunset From their table it looks like i'm SOL, my car was registered March 2020 which means it was made before then and in the MOD2 category so no remedy due to outdated technology, should have waited before buying it in December as this has devalued the car a bit in my opinion, technology i can't use in a 5 year old car... from doing some reading the car is not capable of using LTE even if you put a 4G SIM in the unit and essentially Skoda have washed their hands of you if you are affected customer. wonder if this will result in another campaign of "no win no fee" solicitor claims against VAG?

2021 Sportline.
i'd need more information, can't really judge from the ownership history, what is the engine for example? if it is a 1.5 it just might not have been enough for the previous owners. i get where you're coming from though, you're wondering whether it is a lemon. the dealer will usually tell you whether they've had to do work to it.

Misfueled Petrol engine with Diesel
nah should be fine, diesel is basically oil, if anything you've lubed your cylinders, a longer journey might have done some damage. there wouldn't have been enough fired from the injectors to hydro-lock the engine, everything will have been thrown out the exhaust. a decent run up to temperature should clean it, as long as there are no faults from exhaust O2 sensors it should be fine. might smell different for a while. how did you get diesel in a petrol tank? the nozzle on a petrol pump is narrower and so should be the filler neck it corresponds with on the car. when i worked at Merc 20years ago we used have lots of issues of people putting petrol in their diesel tank as the petrol nozzle fits the wider diesel filler neck, but never the other way around.

Closing down 2G/3G network and eCall service
good question, well presented, i just joined with a similar query. although in the UK the eCall isn't part of the yearly MOT (yet...), i'd like the function to remain operational, along with the rest of the Skoda Connect services in my car, which like yours is a 2020 Kodiaq Sportline. seems a bit daft that a car that is only a tad over 4 years old and still resells for £25k-£30k is falling into obsolescence.
