  1. Thanks Bowie, yes I’d looked at the instructions too - doesn’t seem to be the issue though as it sometimes doesn’t work having not been used at all. Pack up the car and 5 minutes later I go back to the car and it works. My wife said don’t worry about it cos it’s not that great a function, but it frustrates me when it’s not perfect!! Reading the manual did make me find the auto lock function though, so I’ve set that up, which is nice!
  2. Anyone got the lumbar massage function on your elroq? I have it ... but it's not worked a number of times whilst I've been driving. Frustrating being intermittent as I know it'll work when the garage look at it.... wondered if there's a software glitch or something I'm doing that stops it working - any ideas from the collective knowledge hub of owners?!
  3. Agree, blue looks great. I’ve enjoyed cleaning my brilliant silver one today! WRT the safety tech, I must admit I don’t find it too intrusive, where I have before - Nissan leaf for example. I’ve got it all switched on still. Anyone got the free miles through yet? I’ve had my car over a week, but not received an update on it. Wonder what timescale to expect based on others experiences?
  4. I've got the electric seats on my Elroq. We also have a yeti. Love the yeti ... seat height very comfortable in front and back. I've had Nissan Leaf before - the batteries on that mean the floor pan is so high, its impossible to sit comfortably in the back. Tried a Volvo C30 & my daughter said the same problem. In the Elroq, I've not noticed an issue with seat height - I have the driver seat quite high - no issues with getting knees in - the seat moves back automatically - comfort access I think it's called. Rear seats - daughter very happy. Very good legroom and floorpan not noticably in the way. Whilst it's not replacing our Yeti, the Elroq will be the car we take on long journeys now. Very comfy.
  5. Picked up my 85 edition on Thursday. Few issues with sorting handover, but now I have my hands on the car, I’m super impressed. Anyone still waiting won’t be disappointed. I’ve been through a variety of cars over the years, often Audis. This is the most refined car I’ve driven. So clever, so many features and so comfortable. Often electric cars have shoddy legroom and high floorpan in the rear. My daughter always prefers our 8 year old Yeti to my new cars, but actually loves the rear of the Elroq. The driving assistance systems are very unobtrusive in my opinion. I’ve not felt the need to switch any off, despite living in countryside with narrow roads. I’m very happy with my purchase, despite not having seen the car before ordering!
  6. I've got a mini electric presently. Need bigger & more comfy now! Looked at the mini aceman (actually bought one, but declined it when they tried to hand it over with a dent!). It was a bit toy-town esque. Very colourful inside. Didn't like it! Had a Countryman for a couple of days - which I must admit I really liked. But the Elroq has better range & I suspect is going to feel similarly grown up. I'm excited to see. I did consider EV3 too and friend is getting an explorer this week, so will have a look at that when he's got it.
  7. Yes, thanks for reminding me - I think there was also a short period when the offer was £6000 at 6.9% or something similar. I'll be pushing for that deal when it comes to signing anything!!
  8. No I've not paid anything either - think the central Skoda ordering system took the 'risk' rather than the dealers (although I understand that system has been abandoned presumably because dealers had no flexibility and we all expect some these days). I'm going to take the £3k deposit contribution PCP deal and pay it off straight away, as recommended by the dealer!
  9. I'm being pleasantly surprised by my dealer every time I check - last weekend was "definitely by the end of March", and yesterday it was "it's in the country, so probably next week" ! I suspect it was on the same shipment as the demonstrators doing the rounds. (I ordered towards the end of December).
  10. Dealer has informed me mine is built and awaiting shipping, but is confident it’ll arrive before the end of March (save me £2k luxury car tax if so). They’re getting demonstrator for a week in March, and will let me have a play when it’s with them. Hoping I like it because I’ve just had a Mini Countryman electric loan car this week and quite liked it! Very refined. £10k more than the Skoda and I’m hoping I like the Skoda more!
  11. I see Skodas PCP deals have got better… £3500 contribution if 0% finance and £6000 contribution @ 6.9% APR. I’ll take that discount and then pay it off with that discount.
  12. Great stuff - nice to see them coming through ... how did you hear about the build date? Did the dealer contact you? (I'm fed up with hassling the dealer for updates!)
  13. Yep. Did this with my Mini Cooper electric too. Crazy eh?! Dealer said to visit when they have the demonstrator on site, and I can of course cancel at any time up to collecting it. I doubt I’ll change my mind though.
  14. I went for brilliant silver as like that on the yeti we have. I had to keep bothering the dealer to get a build date. I’ll take it with a pinch of salt though!
  15. I ordered end of December. Told April. Now have build date in February, so April still estimated for delivery. At the time of ordering the PCP deal wasn’t 0%, but also the dealer wasn’t able to get the finance sorted because the model didn’t exist at the time. So now I see the PCP deal is better, can anyone who’s ordered tell me if you’ve got finance deal documents yet? Also the free miles offer …. I haven’t had an email from Skoda about that - is this something the dealer has to sort too? thx for help
