    I had USB A to Lightning on my last car. Changed to new iPhone in November and replaced connector with USB A to C. Have now moved to USB C to C on Karoq and the wired CarPlay works perfectly. Providing you are connecting to a data port, you should be OK. Cannot use wireless as the Road Angel Halo WiFi clashes with Skoda WiFi!! Hope all goes well on your return.

    Saying hello to the forum. Day 2 of owning a Karoq, truly impressed with the build and finish. Getting to know the infotainment system through the manual has brough me to this site. Thanks to all who have previously contributed.
