  1. Nothing concrete yet but I did read online that someone discovered opening the Škoda app at the same time as the OVO app somehow causes a conflict as both apps try and communicate with the car. I did use both apps at the time as I wanted to monitor the charging. In the next charge I'll only open the OVO app.
  2. Im having issues with the car recognising the cable when connecting to the OHME epod at home. I plug it in and the car charging socket flashes white and then turns red. I get a message on the dash to try another charger. At first I thought it was the cable so I tried another. Same issue. Sometimes it'll go green and OVO charge anytime will set a charging schedule. Then a few minutes or hours later the charger light turns red and OVO charge anytime is cancelled and shows the car as unplugged. I'm going to try another OHME charger at my partner's house and see if I get the same issue .
  3. Try plugging the car in and then leaning in and pressing 'Stop charging' on the Infotainment screen then lock the car leaving it plugged in. The octopus app should recognize that the car is plugged in and send instructions to the car to start and stop charging
  4. Ive set up trained parking for work. It's clever but it is so slow that you feel a bit silly using it. The acceleration is amazing! I can't imagine ever having to put my foot fully down, only just to test it for fun.!
  5. Brilliant silver looks amazing too
  6. I picked my car up 15th March and ive heard nothing yet on the free miles
  7. That blue really does pop.
  8. I haven't received the free miles either Bowdie. Not sure how to chase up that one.
  9. It really is a good car. Glad you're enjoying it too.
  10. When i got the dashcam fitted , I got a brand new Mercedes GLB 200 as a courtesy car but do you know what, when I got back into the Elroq , it felt so much nicer to drive and more comfortable too. The sound system in the Elroq is very good too. The reproduction of music on Classic FM sounds great on philharmonic with surround sound on.
  11. That's a very professional looking photo TAP!
  12. Absolutely love it. It's so smooth pulling away and the adaptive regenerative braking for junctions and speed limits is very clever. I got the dashcam wired in yesterday for £132 at the local dealer too. I think our choice of moon white looks really good on the Elroq. It really contrasts well with the black and grey trim.
  13. Mine was about five weeks from the end of the build week to handover at Van Mossel Esplanade. Think it very much depends on availability of shipping though.
  14. Talk about cutting it fine 🙂
  15. No, I used Carwow to sell mine and found it really easy. Better price than part exchange, so I was happy.
  16. Brilliant TAP. Perfect timing!
  17. One thing I did notice on the Skoda app while hooking it up to the charger is that the car reports 'Not plugged in' until it starts receiving power. So for dynamic charging, where the charger only starts charging during the off peak hours, no need to worry that the car says its not plugged in when technically it is.
  18. Thankfully you were right Bowdie All very easy to charge. As you said, the car API can't communicate with the electricity supplier yet but the Ohme charger sent all the data and I'm getting the 7p per Kwh. Phew !
  19. Can't you ask the dealer to register the car TAP if it's at a UK port, to beat the 1st April deadline ?
  20. Just plugged mine in for its first charge using Charge Anytime on OVO with an Ohme Pod charger I'm a little nervous not having done it before. Hope it works!
  21. Brilliant news Bowdie!
  22. I got 2000 miles too.
