  1. Idling too fast - why?

    Love my Fabia bought it from new 6 years ago, no problems at all until now. It's suddenly decided to idle at about 1400rpm all the time, cold or warm. No apparent way of adjusting it downwards. No other issues, warning lights etc. It works perfectly well apart from this. Just in case this is relevant it's a 1.0 TSI auto with a DSG box. I have scanned through this forum for anyone else who mentions this but couldn't seem to find anything. Any help or pointers appreciated.
