  1. Not in any model that I'm aware of. Certainly not in the Kodiaq and Octavia.
  2. I don't have a new car. I have a standard 2017 2ltr petrol Kodiaq full-fruit and a 2017 1.4ltr Octavia Wagon 7DSG. If I get any more issues with the mechatronic system on the Kodiaq (had a few replacements in the last 18mths, although I don't think it's actually what's been causing my issues) I'll probably move it on and get something else. I'd like a Enroq but a bit pricey for me and doesn't have as much as my old Kodiaq (go figure!!). The new Kodiaq is good, but have been considering PHEV vehicles as well. I'd like to have the EV for commuting to work, with the ICE for long trips (which I do regularly)
  3. Thanks for that suggestion. Last night I eventually found all the diagrams for the Kodiaq and it happened to include the way to pull the plastic shroud out to get access to the cable and USB assembly. I'm going to try to pull mine this weekend.
  4. Rainy and cloudy today, supposed to be sunny and warm tomorrow and for the next few days.
  5. The point you make about the USB socket playing up... Mine has been causing my headaches for ages and I could never work out why. Sometimes it would work without issue, other times it would connect/disconnect every few minutes, seconds, hours, whatever. It did it so much sometimes my phones security app would lock the connect out sometimes. I then noticed on a dirt road that it was happening constantly, especially over bumps. I wriggled the USB A end of the cable in the socket and it started to work and stayed connected for ages. then it happened again. I notice that the socket is 'loose' and I'm wondering if there is an issue. I'm trying to find out how to dismantle the centre console and look at the connections behind the socket. Hopefully it just needs pushing together. Any ideas where I can get diagrams, parts lists and how-to instructions for taking the console out? I should mention that it happens to all phones connecting to the USB socket (Android and iPhones), I've replaced all the cables, reset the system, updated the phones, etc.
  6. Hey all, new to the site. Have a 17 Petrol which I've really enjoyed. Had a few issues, which I imagine most owners do, but I have a couple of things which seem to be a bit left field. I'm hoping to learn from others and listen to what everyone else is going through.
